Meet The Founder
Rangga Mamengko (Angga)
Rangga Mamengko, known to many as Angga, grew up in North Sulawesi surrounded by nature, travel, and photography. Inspired by his father, a respected tour guide and professional photographer, he developed a lifelong passion for wildlife and exploration.
After studying Travel Bureau management at university, Rangga expanded his experience through years of fieldwork and expedition operations. He further developed his expertise under the mentorship of Nurlin Djuni, founder of Malia Tours Indonesia, learning the practical realities of organizing birding expeditions across some of Indonesia’s most remote wildlife destinations.
Today, Rangga Trails reflects that journey—combining local knowledge, trusted networks, and a genuine passion for helping travelers experience the extraordinary wildlife of eastern Indonesia.
